I just this morning recieved an email from Arlys from the BAVD foundation.
Jim has undergone another procedure to replace his mechanical valve which had some extra bits of tissue hanging down and causing the possibility of a stroke ( he had a stroke a few months back)...he was operated on again, on the 13th Feb. by the expert team at Cedars Sinai and I am so very pleased to report he is doing well...
Arlys has posted more details of his surgery on the BAVD website...under the "February" heading....
I will be continuing to pray he keeps getting better everyday...Arlys has been a huge supporter of me and my efforts to get my boys checked and I cannot thank her enough...This wonderful lady is a pioneer in our mission to educate the world about BAVD . I admire her strength and tenacity .
