Anyone know where to find follow up?

Seen this loads of places - A Ross procedure done with a tissue engineered valve

By 2003, some patients had up to 3 years follow up. Would like to see what the results are like now,with some up to 6 years, but can I find them? Not at all.

Anyone know more on this?

sorry i can't help with that, but at the time that joey had his ross procedure, the cryolife synergraft valve (sounds like what you're talking about... tissue valved rinsed so that once implanted it would populate with recipients own cells) was popular.
we had requested one for joey's surgery, but dr. stelzer said that he preferred the "tried and true" valves, so we went along and are pleased that we did.
there are some people on this forum who still have their cryolife valves in place, but there have been one or two who have had bad results with them.

Some people have had disastrous results, after a few years of good results, needing explanting and another valve replacement. Others may still be doing well.

Thanks everyone, however I don't think this is quite the same as synergraft. Will research and find out more if possible.
