Anybody taking hydralizine?

Brian has been having terrible headaches - to the point that he is asking for pain killers. The only new drugs he is taking are hydralizine and celexa. He used to take Lisinopril but it is REALLY bad if you have renal stenosis so they are afraid to put him back on it.

Headaches are listed as a side effect of hydralizine but also for lisinopril.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

we are still waiting for approval for the visit to CC. I think it is almost done, they said we should have it by Monday.

Since Birain 's head aches are so bad, have they done any MRIs ect to make sure there is no problem.
I hope you get your approval soon, altho selfish me, I wish it was to a hospital closer to us

Also, Brian's bp is normal, but when he first started getting the headaches his BP was really high.

Lyn, he can't have an mri because he has a pacemaker.

I am on Hydralazine and YES, headaches are a side effect. I hate it!

Thanks Deek, I really hope that is all that it is. The are switching him to another BP med. I will keep you posted.
