Any Experience with Dr. John Richardson @ St Vincent's Birmingham AL?

Does anybody have any experience with Drs. Richardson or Lewis @ St Vincent's Birmingham AL. They do the robot valve replacement and conventional AVR/CABG and do 250-300 robot operations a year, but nobody seems to know anything about them.

I've searched under their names but nothing comes up. Thanks for any comments.

Are you especially interested in the Robotic Valve Replacement?

If not, you may want to consider going to UAB which has 4 surgeons last time I checked.
Dr. McGiffin is very well liked by his patients and staff, and has a good reputation in the region.

Thanks Al. We are lined up to see McGiffin on Friday but I'm still looking for the AVR surgery that would give my 84 YO mother the easiest time and quickest recovery. Richardson & Lewis are evidently the only ones doing AVR with the robot in BHM. I know some say the robot gives quicker recovery and others haven't had this experience.
