Just wondering how many of you have changed your Coumadin/Warfarin to
5W30 for the winter months. You know, your blood should be thinner during cold starts so that it reaches critical areas of the body faster. :D

I think the boys in the lifestyles forum are still using the 20W50 Racing Coumadin/Warfarin and have very thick blood. Can't be a good thing. :D

Thin blood

Thin blood

The joke is amusing. It would be more amusing were I not chilled to the bone in a centrally heated house this a.m.

So I'm all for different summer and winter grades of warfarin management.:p Wouldn't it be nice.:p

Tell me about it. I have plastic up on the windows, the thermostat set to 72F and the furnace is still coming on about 5 times per hour. Fuel Oil ain't cheap. I just got the tank filled, 177.2 gallons at $2.799 per gallon plus tax=$525.74
That should last until the end of January, but at this rate, I don't know.

Freddie, your version of "anti-freeze" just may cost more than changing your oil.....LOL

My Dad says that us older models need our oil a bit thicker to keep all our old bits lubricated...HUH?

And yup, my house is set at 70F (21C) and I still have a hard time getting out of my cozy bed.

Ross this is why i did change to extra of it

Heres a Canadian poem i'll tell you.

It's winter here in Canada

and gentle breezes blow

Seventy miles an hour at twentyfive below.

Oh how i luv Canada, when the snows up to your BUTT,

You take a breath of winter and your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes,the weather here is wonderful,so i guess i'll hang around,

I could never leave Canada...................................

"CUS I'M frozen to the ground!!!!!!!!:p:p:D
