Anti Malaria Tablets

Hi I am due to travel to india in 9 days, and I know I have left this too late but I am looking for some advice on anit malaria tablets. If I am taking Chloroquine together with proguanil what sort of affect is this likely to have on my INR, Its not possible for me to get tested out there india, so should I be taking these tablets. If I start the course tomorrow, Is it worth having an INR check done right before I leave to see if they areeffecting my INR Thanks

I would suggest calling NHS Direct ( if you have to start the course tomoorrow) for advice

or contacting you anticoagulant nurse on Monday

If you are going to be in India for more than a week or so, can't you arrange to have an INR test there?
