Guess what? Some of you already know but Andrew had to go back to the OR again today. His PD cath for his dialysis was not working and they had to go and fix it. It seems to be working now and pray it continues to do so please.

Honestly it just about broke my heart when I knew that he was going back to surgery. It was very hard because we kept telling him he could get extubated and he just wants some water. He really did take it better than we did. I just had to leave and cry a while but even until the next morning I was just sick with dissapointment.

He did very well and guess what his kidneys produced a lot of urine just before he was going into the OR. I really believe they are going to be just fine. I wish he hadn't had to have the diallysis cath fixed but he will need dialyssis until his kidneys are more effective.

Even when I was upset I knew God understood my frustration. I told Him I don't know who I am mad at, I guess you, but you really are a good God and would not allow this set back with out a good reason. Andrew continues to amaze me with his acceptance though he did let them know in surgery he didn't need this since he had peed. I guess he would have much rather not gone in again.

My only thing now is I don't want anyone promising his ET tube is coming out until they are standing there about to remove it. He has been dissapointed too many times.

It's no ones fault but so frustrating none the less. So any ways a bump in the road but things are progressing.

Continue to uphold us all in your prayers and remember our God is a good God.

heart hugs,
Wendy

I continue to keep Andrew , Wendy and his family in my prayers and thoughts. I am sure their faith in God keeps them strong.

Andrew's attitude is amazing and he and his entire family have our best wishes and prayers that this is just a small bump in the road and he is soon off dialysis.

Thoughts/prayers continue for Andrew and Wendy and the entire family.....
