? about doctors

I have read so many good things about Dr. Dietz and Dr. Cameron at Baltimore/Hopkins...does anyone know if they pediatric surgerys are their expertise also? My two year old has a BAV with a bulging at his aortic root at the sinus of valsalva. He probably will not need surgery for a couple of years...I pray...but I would like to send records to the absolute best surgeons now just to have it lined up.

I am sending his records to Dr. Bove and I would like to send them to one other doctor...any thoughts...

Yes! In fact my appointments with Hal Dietz were at the Pediatrics Genetic Center at Hopkins. (Not relevant, but the step-father of one of the child patients tried to "pick" me "up" while his wife and stepson were in seeing Dr. Dietz. Bad form in so many, many ways!)

Dr. Cameron does children too! He does the very, very young, the very, very old, and those of us in-between.

Yes, Dr. Cameron is a pediatric cardio-thoracic surgeon as well as a surgeon for adults.
