33 years ago, at the age of 18 I received my Bjork-Shiley mitral valve. We've been ticking together ever since I"ve married and have 2 amazing adult children. I have no activity restrictions and in the last 8 years have trained hundreds of miles for long-distance charity walks. It's nice to see others having many good years with their valves too!
