    🎉 EXCITING NEWS!! - Orangebrittainy 🎉

Everything went beautifully! We didn't have enough time to get the lovenox out of my system, so my pain relief choices were limited but it didn't interfere with the birth in any other way. The hospital allowed me total movement during labor, and delivery was actually easier than with my first...

    🎉 EXCITING NEWS!! - Orangebrittainy 🎉

Hey! I would love to share more of my story. I had my AVR in September 2010 at 24 years old. It was a difficult decision to get a mechanical valve, but I decided that I already had one miracle child and I wanted the best chances of staying with him. I knew it meant no more children and I...

    AVR scheduled for Jan. 7th

I knew all my life I was going to have a surgery and it affected much of my life until I made the choice not to let it. Now 2 years post-op I feel better than I have ever felt and I am grateful for that!

    Coumadin and "Romance" Woman's POV

I read the post regarding a man, but have any woman had that side effect. I ask because on my spring break I got out of my routine and missing 2 doses in 3 days. I was actually interested in romance. I am never interested in romance. I can and do perform, but until I am warmed up I have no...

    Attempting to pull myself together

I am 26 years old. I was told I would never have children, but God blessed me with a beautiful boy. A year and a half ago I choose the mechanical valve when it was time to have my surgery. I felt that since I already have been blessed with one child, that it would be foolish for me to put that...

    update on my lightheaded problems

I had a very similar issue. Mine was caused by low BP. My doctor told me to keep from squatting, try not to bend, and to make friends with the salt shaker. GL!

    My Date Is Set!!

Relax, after all you'll be asleep the whole time and won't remember a thing. Honestly though, that is what got me through it. Once I realized it was 100% out of my hands, I was much better with it. G was a nervous wreck though. The last thing I remember is gargling some antiseptic mouthwash...

    Re-run all your tests?

Duke re-ran several of my tests as well. My surgeon explained to me that it was important to have the most accurate information as possible close to the date. I had a second CT, within 6 months of my first. Had a very lengthy thorough Echo done.
