Cleveland Clinic scheduling called yesterday. I am scheduled for minimally invasive robotically assisted mitral valve repair with Dr Marc Gillinov on April 16, 2009. Countdown to getting out of this waiting room begins!!

Wow, Jen you are getting Gillinov! He is the repair go to guy. I am sure you will have a successful repair. So, the wait is finally over for you. I am happy for you. When do you travel to Ohio?

Thanks to all for the encouragement. Nupur, thanks for the comments concerning the surgeon and the repair. I, too, have the utmost confidence in the CC and in Dr Gillinov.
We plan to leave the first of the month.
I have the testing on 4/6 and a meeting with Dr Gillinov on 4/8. With the Easter holiday things are not scheduled in the "normal" fashion.

I am hoping Dr Gillinov will offer the options for plan B when I meet with him.
I am going on 63.......I am guessing tissue??? Or is that not the plan B you are speaking of????
