Snoopy has a date

Just got off the phone with the schedulers. Go in for my "pre-teach" class on March 3rd and then the AVR is set for 0830 on 10 March at the Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Lenox Baker will be doing the procedure.

I'm ready (I think!). My anxiety, at least up to this point, has been waiting to get the date. Now that it is set, I'm calm, for the moment anyhow, and it suddenly has become real to me.

It's good to have that date set. A helpful thing to do now is plan some enjoyable dates after surgery, just so your mental calendar goes on beyond that date.
