Hi 'everyone',

My son Thomas is lead singer and plays guitar (self taught) in a band called SOUTH. They have been together since last summer and won ''The Battle of the Bands'' competition last October here in Kilkenny.

I thought some of you might like to hear a song from South, written by Thomas. (He says that when he ''makes it big'' he will bring me to USA to get my health problems sorted out. He is such a kind soul.

Thomas has more than 10 more songs ready. The music and lyrics just flow from him.

The lyrics in that song are about ''friendships breaking down''...namely teenage friendships, but it can apply to any age really !!

FYI....Thomas is the 'chap' furthest away from the camera. That is ''Ken'' nearest, he plays bass, and out of shot there is 'Alan' playing drums.

Ok...I will shut up now....just cant help feeling proud of him... and excited for him.(You never know U2 had to start somewhere !
