I'm on diet and I'm eating a lot of vegetables and it affect my INR last week it was 2.0 so they increase my coumadin i think eat what you want but dose your coumadin with your diet and do more INR test than before diet and learn more about the green vegetables and how much vitamin K they have .

Don't worry about how much vit k is in it, just eat the normal diet you like. Now suddenly eating a whole lot more of something will throw you off, but if your at least semi consistent, soon your dose will be correct for your diet.

Don't bet on it. Most of them are just as evil as the shakes. Be sure your checking the labels.

If the protein source in meal replacement bars or shakes is SOY, there is K in them. Vit K does not have to be listed in nutritional facts. If the ingredients list SOY in the top half - you're getting a lot of K.

If you plan on using these regularly - then just know your dose will need to go up. But you also have to be careful about stopping their use, because your INR will shoot up then.

And I just looked it up and the Slim Fast meal bars do have lots of vit K. Look at this.

Interestingly enough - a few days ago I had a large snack of Edemame (soy beans). They come frozen, you heat them up and put sea salt on them and peel and eat - Yum.

The actual soy bean must not have a large concentration of K because my INR was up yesterday and not down when I did my regular test.

I'm on diet and eating alot of greens with v k for more than 6 months and my opinion eat greens as you like not too muche and do the blood test this is my opinion it could be wrong

So long as your consistent for the most part, eating your greens is not a problem. Your dose is adjusted for it.
