Well i never thought it too be so icey out:eek:

To get to my car i had to do one of those arms in the air to balance

all the way there ,then i find my car buried under a sheer complete

cover in ice, trying to keep my footage i try and pry the door open

again arms in the air i'm ready to fall backwards, then somehow the dam

door opens i slide in safely:mad: then i cant see for sheer ice on all

the windows, well im not about to get out and scrape for fear of losing

my balance again. Car runs and of course ice melts in along time frame

ohoh the mirrors need scraping ,yeah right not even ice wouldn't budge

less i stood keeping a warm hand on them.

Okay ready i hit the road to get hubby whos car is in need of minor detail

at his work.

Well i confess that when i see an idiot speed by me on a slippery road

and see him again afew klicks down into wall of bridge, hes fine ,but

God forgive me i can't help but smile:)

I didnot realise how terrible it is outdoors and we iced with a whole

bag of deicer already all around our yard back and front.

2nd when Dale calls me nope he doesn't say watch hon it's icey out:mad:

between the weather and his calmness about this i'm not in the best

of flavors:D next i bet they call for surgery and i'm gonna fly.not as

icey in the clouds. This weathers crappy!!!!!!

Got a Dr's appt. in the morning so yeppi get to do this again, cant wait.

think its time for a move to warmer conditions.

So charm me with your nice weather everyone in better places.:p

Good luck tomorrow with your appointment, Deb

It was very windy and a bit cold here. It is rare for us in So. Ca. to have these winds. But I cannot complain after reading your post. Stay warm and away from crazy drivers.

With my prayers and best wishes, :)

Hope you do ok on the road tomorrow.
Sounds like your weather is getting colder then ours. I live in AZ. and the weather was windy and a bit on the cool side. It was around 65 but windy and blowing dust in the air. Had to get my jacket out for church this am.
But I'm a big baby when it gets to COLD!!! Wish we would get some rain.
Eva's rain dance did'nt do the trick last week we are still DRY..

Take care and let us know how your venture to your appt. goes.

Gee whiz Zipper, travel was not recommended in or around N.B. or here yesterday. The roads should be better this morning as you head out for your appointment - drive safe.
I pray that your doc will have some sort of good news for you.
Take Care

Drive safe today, Zipper.

It was cold enough this morning that I saw a few snow flakes on the way to work but not cold like you've got in the prairies. It's still typical fall weather here, although cold enough now that I winterized my bike and but it away on the weekend :( . Winter is on its way here but hopefully won't arrive for a few weeks yet. I'm not looking forward to it

can always tell when it's wintertime here - the folks out at the "happy rural family
scenic location" are harvesting bananas.

Here in Louisiana we had a high of 70 and a low of about 58-60 and sunny. It was a beautiful sunny day. Wish I could send you some but I don't want the ice or snow in return.:D

You Canadians can just keep all that nasty, cold weather all winter long as far as I'm concerned. I really don't care for it. Here in North Carolina today, it was beautifully sunny, and about 60 degrees.

Time for snow tires! Today I bought a new waterproof, thermal ski jacket on sale and put it on immediately, plus gloves and a headband. It was cold and windy!!!
