I?ve noticed that your Heart Valve Forum is a great community for expressing health concerns, sharing personal experiences and advice with others. In the spirit of sharing knowledge and advice with others, Cleveland Clinic is offering an Online Health Chat with a surgeon from one of the largest and most experienced cardiac surgery teams in the world.

The chat will be held November 5, 2008 at 12 noon (EST).

Dr. Joseph F. Sabik, III will discuss the latest advancements in heart surgery and new research that is transforming heart care. Dr. Sabik is the Chairman of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Surgical Director of the Cardio/Thoracic ICU, Director of the Cardiothoracic Residency Training Program and a staff surgeon in the Cleveland Clinic Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.

For you, I beleive it would be November 4th at 7:00PM.

Look for time conversions on google and check it for yourself. I think I"m reading this right, but I just got out of the Hospital and I'm certainly not with it.

I put in all the information to join the heart chat, but the only one that comes up for me is about diabetes. I can't seem to bring up the chat on the heart. Do you have any advice?

You won't be able to participate in the heart chat until a few days before it occurs probably between November 1st, they'll start taking questions, the the real chat on the 5th.

It sure sounds interesting enough, but I will be slightly indisposed at the time of chat. Seems that is the exact time I will be going under the knife for colon surgery.

It would be nice if transcripts were available after it was over.
