We voted about 8:30 this morning and we weren't there 10 minutes from walking in, checking ID, voting and walking out......NICE. Although, there were news reports that Norfolk, VA and Hampton area had 5-6 hour waits.....nasty.

I'm waiting for my husband to get home and we are going together.
From what I have heard from neighbors today it is about a 45 minute
wait and that was early this morning,it will probably be worse by the time
I get there. This will be my first time voting in NY, I usually vote absentee
in Kentucky.
I'll check back in if the 45 minutes is wrong.

My wait was pretty short. Maybe 10 minutes. My husband went shortly after me and his wait was about 15 minutes. We vote in a small town in Louisiana. We are hearing of 45 minutes to an hour around here. This was at 9:00AM this morning.

We didn't have a line! We were amazed because we had seen a modest one about half an hour earlier while dog-walking around 9am. A neighbor said the wait was 1 hour at 8am, though. (Our polls open at 6am.)

No wait. I stopped after lunch and went right in and got my ballot.:) Neither did our son, who currently makes Iraq his home away from home, nor did his brother.

absentee ballot is the best thing since the invention of short shorts....:) I'll never stand in line again.

Georgia has early voting but lines were 4 to 12 hours wait time. I voted today and stood in line for 1 1/2 hours.

About 10 minutes- we did early voting last week, and got there before the polls opened at 8.
There was a 30 minute line at my regular polling place at 7:03 this morning (as I smugly drove past).

Nope, not all states have early voting. PA doesn't. My 8 year old nieces were astonished when I asked them to call me on the way to school last Wednesday and remind me to go vote early so I wouldn't put the car on autopilot. "You get to vote EARLY!!!!"

They're an hour ahead, and leave for school just as I'm leaving for work. They and my sister have been working with one of the campaigns so it's a big deal to them.

About 10 minutes - no line to get in but there were only 4 voting booths. Seems kind of dumb because we use scanned paper ballots so the booths are only for privacy - could have had more with no issues. However, we usually don't have to wait at all so it's hard to complain about 10 minutes.

I waited 5 minutes because I chose to use the electronic voting and there were only 2 booths. Had I done a paper/punch ballot, I wouldn't have had to wait.

No early voting in MASS, our polls opened at 6 am not lines no waiting when I went at 9:30, althought there was a steady stream of voters. I also live in a small town in central MA, larger cities are reporting lines

It took 20 minutes from start to finish. No complaints from me. My daughter lives about 30 min. from me and she and her DH stood in line for 1hr. and 40 min. Yep, Ohio has early voting. Lines were way to long when I thought about voting early.
