Need cardiologists in Chicago!!!!!!

Hey everyone--my good friend in Chicago needs a cardiologist. He may have Afib which hasn't been picked up on a halter monitor yet. His current doc recommends the maze procedure And tells him its 95% effextive (Really??don't think so) Anyone know a good one?

Depending upon where this person lives they can try Central Dupage Hospital and Dupage Medical Group Cardiology in Winfield Illinois. This group has a good EP who does the cath ablasion for A-fib. Contact 630-933-8100.

I would suggest Dr. Clifford Kavinsky at Rush University Hospital. 312-942-5020. He has been taking great care of me since my aneurysm was discovered in 2002. The Rush Heart Institute has a great reputation overall as well.

My cardiologist is Dr. Patel in Park Ridge, Illinois and out of Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. I have been very happy with him and the hospital.

How close to Barrington? I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Michael Rosenberg, at Midwest Heart Specialists, Good Shepherd Professional Office Building II, in Barrington. He is the cardio I recently had to leave, as he moved his practice to Barrington, which puts him about an hour away from me (each way). Dr. Rosenberg is a super doc, with a great personality. Do look him up, if you can.

Hi Steve,

I go to Midwest Heart Specialists in Barrington. My cardio is Dr. Leskovac. I went for my INR today and there was a new cardio added to the group. His name is Dr. Rosenberg. I believe , he was your previous cardio. Seemed like a nice guy. He was talking to the nurses when I walked in. I would have to look on a map to see how far Lake Forest is from Barrington. The receptionist did say that a lot of Dr. Rosenbergs patients have started coming to the Barrington office, as they did not want to lose him as their cardio. So he must be good!

Midwest Heat is an excellent choice in the burbs. My card is Vincent Bufalino (founder of the organization). Naperville/Elmhurst.

Recently moved to the NW burbs and will be using Good Shephard. Staying with Bufalino. But...will not be lucky to have him if I am an admitted. Thanks for the info on Rosenburg! Will keep him in mind.
