July 26, 1991 AVR at age 43.

Doing just fine except for the aging sh*t but on the bright side I did get the chance to grow old.
 
Congrats, Jack! You are a distance runner in more ways than one, life being the most important one. (Oops, did I just suggest there's something more important than running? :) ) Just kidding -- your running obviously has contributed to the quality of your life.
 
Congrats Jack! Don't worry about aging! The closer I get to 50, the younger 60 seems! My grandmother is 99. and there are days that I think even she is young! It's inspiring to the rest of us to know that after valve surgery, it is possible to the Energizer Bunny!
 
Y'know, now that I think of it, if my normal HR is about 60 beats per minute, that's 86,400 ticks per day and 31 million per year and over half a billion ticks since 1991. The Energizer Bunny is a slacker next to me.
 
thanks for showing that life can be good, really good, after valve replacement; can't be that bad if you are complaining abput the everyday aging stuff!
