Just left work early and injested through breathing some mace
was in the right place when it got used at work ,but it travelled
too fast before i could get out and it's been an hour my throats raw and
eyes are running tears and lungs are sore will this wear off soon .
coughed conciderably alot and face feels so hot and has turned bright red
called work back they say about an hour should start to wear off


think i better go to emerg eh?????? Great!!!!!

Poor you!!!!! I got sprayed once when taking a self defence course with a police officer and he demostrated the pepper spray and I got some of it. It was awful!
Hope you feel better soon!!!!

oh July 4th (parade day) there was a helicopter landing in a parking lot (military) and a spray was sprayed to guide it to its spot. it was mace by mistake. when it landed we sent our 6 y.o. son to stand under it so we could take his picture. He went, started to return saying his eyes burned, but we said no, stay there. Finally we felt it, too. our faces, eyes, etc. Then the crowd was feeling it. a drug store nearby was inundated with all of us begging for water and ice. My poor baby son will never forget his trip under the helicopter rotors!

SORRY EVERYONE,I didn't go emerg,ended up having a cool
shower and then redfaced and sore i slept with a fan on low
blowing to reduce the burning sensation,but you know even
have crusty eyes today,been using visine and cool cloths,feeling
bit better and alot better as of lungs and face area,but sorry i didnt
get back on sooner to answer,but went back to work for 12 hrs. and
had an (UNEVENTFUL SAFE) shift. HOORAY!!!!!! Touch wood

Pepper spray is a terrible experience

Yep Bina stay behind always,
Iv'e not had a good day ,woke up with this raspy flemmy cough
and throat hurts today,could be the spray,could be the fan
that ran that night,could be the season starting for bronchitas
but i feel yukky today and chest real heavy .......so i know what appt.
i will be making this week if it feels worse for me
