I still can't comprehend that she's gone..

I still can't comprehend that she's gone..

It's hard for me to go onto chat on Sundays now, not because I don't want to blab, but I just can't picture chat without our Bon-Bon. In the few short years that I knew her from this website, I have come to experience what a TRUE Southern Belle really is and more importantly what a special lady Bonnie is (I use the present tense because I know she's just spreading her love and graciousness all over God's kingdom). Ole' Harrybaby is missing Bonnie right along with everyone else....Keep em' laughing Bon Bon!!!!:D:D:D Harrybaby:D:D

interesting that we continue to just drop in here on this thread just to say we miss her. Tis true, dear Harry, we all do. This thread is like touching bases with her just to say hey, you are still part of us.

:( Oh how sad!! I've only just rejoined the forum and was looking for all the old familiar "faces" - I'm so sorry to learn of Bonnie's passing.

Belated, but genuine condolances to her family. Seeing all of the posts here really does show what a much loved lady she was.

I have been away too long. Was sorry to see this news. She was one of the regulars.

The holidays will be very hard for Bonnie's family as they deal with their first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year without her. I hope we all keep them in our thoughts and prayers. I sent a Thanksgiving card to John the other day so he would know I was thinking of them. His address is on the first post that Bonnie's daughter, Adrianne, made to this thread.

Thanks, Mary- that was very thoughtful of you. Bonnie and her family are always in our thoughts and prayers.

she's in my email list, too. the pictures that we took on a visit are in my computer; her address is in my personal address list; I have her last email to me about a day before she left us and I read it often; sometimes am tempted to just write to her email address. She is so missed. Just look at all the posts to this thread and you can see for yourself how much she was loved and how much we miss her. A great loss to everyone who knew and loved her.

I was cleaning out my email the other day and came across Bonnie's last email to me. It will remain in my inbox forever or at least until I have no more control over my email and then I am sure I will finally get to meet Bonnie in person - whatever "in person" is on the other side.

I pray her family is doing well.

For the life of me right now, I can't remember what triggered it, but I thought of Bonnie the other day on the way home from work. It was one of those weird, "holy cow, what a weird time to think of that" instances. But ... reminded me of a number of people who used to grace these electronic places we call message boards and no longer can. Kinda sad in a way.....

I think that happens to many of us, Cort. After her passing, I felt her all the time. We emailed each other all the time and every day I looked for her mail. Guess she was saying 'hey' from her seat up there. She still says 'hey' to me. Probly many others, too.

I think of her often too. She was a very special person that many of us won't forget, but we will see her again!

I think of her all the time. For me, she's never gone, just isn't on right now. I'm still having a hard time dealing with the date of her passing being the same as my rupture repair anniversary.

I believe that even though Bonnie has gone to rest...

I believe that even though Bonnie has gone to rest...

She is living on inside all of our hearts...Which tells me that she is telling us she's ok and she is helping to prepare a place for us all when our time comes to go to our rest.

Bonnie, we all miss your southern hospitality and humor oh so very much....Hugs to you from ole' Harrybaby:D:D

my grandfather passed back in 1981...I used to go into stores, and see older gentlemen dressed in similar clothing and I would want to go up and say "Grampa!!!! and hug them" only to remember that he had gone to be with God and my sadness would intensify again, and truthfully, the same thing has happened since my grandmother passed on....I ran into a lady with the same hairdoo and dressed similarly and my heart just started to feel the loss again.

I don't know how to get past this, except to remember all the good times that my brothers have shared with my grandparents, but I almost feel like its some kind of cruel joke that gets played on those who are left behind, although I know this isn't true.

Can anyone else relate to this?:confused::eek:

Yep, I'm sure of it, Ann....

Interesting, Ross. I kinda like that.....

message from Bonnie's sister

I made contact with Bonnie's sister--found her through facebook--and she asked me to pass this message along.

Give my regards to friends on VR, Bonnie did love all of you. Diane

It was mentioned on Sunday Chat that we are coming up on the anniversary of her death. It still doesn't seem possible.

It does not seem possible that she's been gone for almost a year. I feel like she's going to pop on at any minute. I miss her very much, as I'm sure many others here do as well. I know she would be so thrilled about our impending parenthood and wish she could have been here to share it with us.
