Supravalvar mitral ring???

Hope everyone is doing well, not been on as often as i have had a lot going on too much to tell.
I got a letter this morning, still NO date yet but it says-
As Curtis is plumonary hypertensive we will try and admit him over the next few weeks for the operation.
Was wondering if anybody new what a supravalvar mitral ring means ???-
There is a very abnormal mitral valve but a large part of the obstruction seems to be a supravalvar mitral ring. There is also a suspicion that the mitral valve itself has a double orifice although this could be part the cleft itself.
