The Ross "metaphor"

Ross-I don't know if you recall, but this little cactus off my deck serves as a "Ross metaphor". The good Lord could hardly have picked more difficult surroundings. All it has is a crack between two big rocks. But, once again it has survived the winter and done something amazing. I thought you would like to know he's still going strong!

Prickly untouchable little loner who largely lives a sheltered existence, occasionally dresses up and emerges into the world, only to shrink back to his hole.
