I have tried to find a sunscreen product that ?..A) is not greasy and B) does not have a strong sent (Chimps have very sensitive noses:rolleyes:)?..Any recommendations will be much appreciated.

Yea, thats right. Chimps hide from the hot sun.

But if must go out into the sun, try Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Mist SunBlock. It comes in a spray, its not greasy, has very little sent and since its a spray your hands won't get greasy.

Try Banana Boat Sport UVA & UVB Sunblock Lotion, SPF30 Ultra Sweatproof. Fragrance Free.

Waterproof and Non-Greasy. No smell!:)

Often the ones made for toddlers and babies are scent free and non-greasy...or have a look at the hypo-allergenic ones.

Try some of the sunscreens labeled "Faces". They are the only ones that I can use and not break out. I also use it on my arms.

Hi Cooker,

Thought I would let ya know what I use. It is a little bit greasy applying, but not too bad.

Due to my medications, I have become Photosensitive to the sun, and as a result, get some nasty red blotchy areas, rash like, on my skin that gets too much sun. My dermatologist recommended a sun screen called "Blue Lizard". It has an SPF of 30, but works like it was a full sunblock.

Prior to trying it, I went through many different brands. I have been using the Blue Lizard now for over 5 years, and it works. I don't get sunburn, and it does prevent my skin from exposure to sun breakouts.

The most important thing for me though is that it lasts a long time, and if for the most part waterproof. I spend long days on the weekends in the sun on my boat and in the water. This stuff really works for me.

It can be a bit pricey, so I search and find deals on the internet.

It may not be what you are looking for, but for anyone reading this thread, and is looking for something that lasts while in the water it may be just the ticket.

I'm a big fan of the the Bullfrog spray-on stuff. I was skeptical, but got a sample and it seems to work great.

Ms. Janie had a great Neutrogena #30 touch less spray out on her boat in Texas. It was refreshing on hot skin;) Worked well too:)

Stay away from the Banana Boat CONTINUOUS SPRAY sunscreen. It's like an aerosol spray (very convenient), but it is VERY GREASY. I spray my kids down in the morning and at lunchtime they are still slick, shiny & slippery from it!

I found 85spf nutragena ultra sheer dry-touch sunblock. It is scentless, comes out white, is non greasy and I like it very much.

Thanks for all the suggestions?..I like Neutrogena products (helps me get in touch with my human side:p)?..I tried the Ultra Sheer Body Mist?..SPF 45?..so far so good.....no smell, not sticky and gives my coat a nice shine?.:D

Hmmm... this is a disappointing update ... used the Coppertone Kids no-rub continuous spray today ... kids & me are all red like lobsters. It was SPF 50, sweatproof, waterproof --- we re-applied generously several times throughout the day --- but it didn't do the job! It was not greasy, but did leave a sticky-like filmy feeling after spraying it on. Maybe I'll check out some of that Neutrogena stuff, it sounds good.
