I'll change it on our calendar, Read.
How do you feel about having surgery on Friday, the 13th?
Maybe it will be lucky!

Its been said around here that having surgery on a Friday is good luck and being on the 13th you'l have nothing but luck on your side.

Dr. Cameron

Hello,
Dr. Cameron was one of the surgeons that we spoke with, it was a little further for us to travel, but he was awesome. you have made a very good choice. very wonderful person, and intelligent surgeon.
good luck to you and our prayers are with you.

Dr. Cameron did my Mv repair in 2005. As luck would have it he will be doing my replacement. My pre op meeting with him is on October 14th and the date will then be set. Thanks to you guys I have a full armement of questions for him. If I had to choose a doctor to perform my surgery it would be him. Unlike some "cowboys" who like to see themselves on TV, Dr. Cameron is completely opposed to and videos of surgery. He has written papers on the subject. He feels that the patient deserves the doctors full attention and shouldn't be teaching as he does it. Knowing he will do my surgery at one of the best hospitals in the country and that he is one of the best surgeons in the field makes my stress a little less. I just wish I could wait 3 years until there new cardiac center is finnished.
