OK, all--

I'm sitting at the computer as my students are doing independent work, and a thought came to mind. Many of us change our avatars frequently, others keep them for a while, and some have no avatar at all. And maybe this has been done before, but I'm just curious...

So here are a couple questions:
1) How does your avatar reflect you?
2) What prompted you to choose the avatar you now have?

Gotta go, but looking forward to reading your replies...

Debi (debster913) :D

LOL?.I love to laugh, I love things that make me laugh and smile?.I am a clown, a jokester, a nut:D ?..When I saw the chimp pic there was no question?.that?s me??Now if anyone finds a pic that they think is better suited to me I will be glad to review it?..but I don?t think you will.:D

My avatar shows where my heart lies. I've had pictures of my children, my husband, my dog, my birds...the longest running are pictures of my granddaughter.

I have my grandson, but an old picture. I know I know how to resize a picture to avatar size, but I haven't done it for a while, so sometime when I get some time I'll put a new picture of him up.

1 ) I wanted my avatar to reflect that I'm married. (We just celebrated 28 years of marriage.)

2 ) And my husband agreed to letting me post the photo of us that I currently have up. (He's a private pilot now and this was taken recently during our longest trip to date.)

I have really felt like I need a lot of hugs lately and really like this photo of Chris and me so.....

Cool replies, all! Will love to hear more!

I used to have an engagement photo of the Hubster and me, but it's been six years and I don't look the same anymore.

Since this is the Awesome VR.com, I thought I'd change my avatar to a pic of my awesome cardio and me. The picture was taken last year at a check-up appointment. Dr. V is my hero and a really great cardiologist who's taken good care of my case before and after valve repair. As my students might say, "He's freakin' awesome, son!" :D

The answer to both questions......my "darker" alter-ego. To quote from a Harley executive......"What we sell is the ability for a 43-year-old Accountant to dress up in black leather, ride through small towns, and have people be afraid of him". :D :D ;)

I change mine as the notion hits me.:)

My present one is the result of a remark Cooker made. He said that I was keeping an eye on him--not only here but on another forum.

I change avatars all the time. It's no big deal for me, but Gadgetman says it's hard for him to keep up!

Th' eyes haf it!

ah's gittin' th' feelin' somebody is lookin' at me

Bubba :)

As some of you are aware, Mary and I started the great AVATAR WAR OF 2007 which continues into 2008. I try to counter her many attempts to change her avatar. Of course, women (or as Bubba says WIMMEN) change their mind (and avatars too) as much as they change their hair color. :p

May God Bless,

Danny :)
