Sounds like you did great Jack!!!! You would have to call the coroner if I tried to run.....I have been walking and it is getting easier but I can't see myself as a runner...don't think my joints could take it......SO BE PROUD!!!!!
I couldn't run 10 feet, much less 10 miles! And walking 10 miles is a bit iffy as well. I'm doing well if I get done with 1 mile at a time...

But I've NEVER been able to run (not even as a child). If I attempt to, my heart goes berserk! Every now and then I'm stupid and forget I'm incapable of running and my heart quickly reminds me that this is wrong. Then there are those awful treadmill stress tests... don't even get me started! I'll stick to my walking. ;)

Jack, I've always been jealous of those who can run. Good job!

I just wanted to report in....we had a very nice time in Charleston SC celebrating our 25th anniversary!!! We both stuck with the broiled seafood and the miracle of it all we stayed away from the pralines:mad: :D :D ...The hotel was being renovated so the breakfast offered was fresh fruit:mad: :D ....God takes care of those of us who can't or won't take care of themselves:eek: :)

Anyway we stayed active...walking, shopping etc;) ...and I am actually down a pound this morning which puts me at a 30lb loss since we started...I have about 30 more to go but I know you guys will get me there:D

Welcome back from that delightful Southern city, Mr. Chimp! You did amazingly well to enjoy that cuisine and still shed a pound. Rock on! :D

Thanks SuperBob!!! I was pleased but I must say that I have noticed some old behavior creeping back in:eek: ...with the victory over the weekend and the fact that I seem to have my exercise back on track (walked 10 days straight including this morning) I seem to be allowing myself to give in to the snack attack....Someone brought some delicious cookies to work Monday and I indulged for two days and last night I had more pizza than I should have:mad: ...I have not and will not get on the scales until Friday morning....maybe I can undo the damage that I have done by staying the course today and tomorrow.....I know that exercise is not a license to indulge but I always seem to fall for that trap...But at least I am recognizing that it is happening so maybe I can stop it short.....Good luck to all you Losers this week!!!!:D
