SOOOOO glad you're home. That really is the best part. Every day you'll continue to improve.....slow and steady. Remember the motto of vr.com:
walk walk walk, nap nap nap, breathe breathe breathe!!!! One day at a time and you'll be feeling MUCH better before too long is over.

After reading about your innundation of visitors, I'm so glad I had my surgery 300 kilometers (about 200 miles) from home. It was hard not to have my family close, but that gave me an incentive to get up, get moving and get home.

Needing to put on the brave, well face for all of those people must have been exhausting. I hope you had a tough advocate nearby to shoo them off if you were ready to do some hospital work. (Needing to use the bathroom and having to shuffle through visitors must have been tiring.)

Anyway, that part is over and now you're really on the road to recovery. Don't forget to watch your weight.

my mistake was telling them it would be ok to visit before the surgery. I was uncomfortable mostly because of the catheter in my genital area. besides that, I was wheezing, but I felt obligated to take visitors. again, BIG MISTAKE.

So how are you doing now?

So how are you doing now?

I appreciated your comments about visitors. I guess I'll send out a "stay away" message for a bit.
You sounded good in spite of your big event.
Keep healing.
