"Cedars-Sinai's chief medical officer, Michael L. Langberg, said in a statement that on Sunday three patients each received vials containing 10,000 units per milliliter of heparin instead of vials with a concentration of 10 units per milliliter."

I was just catching up on the news on-line & saw this headline that's absolutely astonishing! Dennis Quaid's twin babies were mistakenly given massive doses of heparin along with another patient there.

Can you see the lawsuits?! Amazing!

What a mistake!

What a mistake!

I don't want to think of possible complications for those babies--they're so small and the other patient as well.

Hopefully they're all fine.

I saw one report that they were stable - after being very critical. Apparently they were bleeding out.
