Isn't it wonderful that you got to meet him, hold him, name him and share this blessing with your dear husband. We know it was hard but God let you have him for a bit and then summoned him to his heavenly home where he will always be safe and also be in a special part of your heart. It is strange that you were never quite satisfied with this pregnancy - intuition, perhaps. I wish you blessings and help from above and all round you to help you get through this.

It is a saddness that is only mediated by the fact that you were able to show him your love and caring for such a short time. Emma, I am so sorry for your loss! One of my oldest and very best friends lost her second child, Luke. Like your Callum he was a truly beautiful baby and like you, she and her husband were with him and have pictures and memories of the briefest time they spent with Luke. It was important to her that we all looked at the pictures with her and her husband. Today my friend always includes him in the recitation of her children and grandchildren's names and always adds that Luke has already gone to heaven. Including Luke, she has eleven children and now LOTS of grandchildren. May God comfort you in your sorrow. Allow yourself time to grieve. You and your family are in my prayers.
