Surgery Today

Hello all. Seth wanted me to keep everyone here updated on the big event today. We just said our "see you later"s. He was smiling and seemed to be very relaxed! They gave him a little something to keep him from being nervous, but he didn't seem to need it. I guess he did plenty of worrying the past couple of months, he got all that out of the way.

They should begin surgery at about 8 this morning and most of you probably know better than I how long it will take Hope to see him around noon. I'm sure I won't be on here too soon after I see him but will try to post this evening. Thanks for all of your support... it's meant the world to him!

Hi Brandi -

Thanks for posting; hope all goes well. One thing in our case was that the doctors took much longer than my family had been told so they were getting kind of unnecessarily worried.

Hoping Seth will be up to taking a little walk first thing tomorrow! Some here even got up later the same day as their surgery. Others took a few days. Take care and post again and please tell him "hello" for us .
