Hi everyone, Just thought I would let you know ''some'' of whats been happening.

Well it was my birthday last Friday 14th, but my body decided I should spend it in hospital. To make a long story short, I woke up at 6.20am with my heart pounding very hard. Within a few minutes I got pain in my bowel followed a few minutes later by chest pain (this was the 3rd morning Id had these exact symptoms, and each day its around 6am) The actual pain wasnt severe, but the pressure made me feel like ''oh oh'' this is bad. About 7.15 it passed, but I still didnt feel right, so about 10am I rang my gp. She told me to go to the hospital (small local hospital ), which I did. Thkey said there were some ''changes'' on my EKG and admitted me !!

On Saturday evening they let me home saying I should wear an event monitor for a week to see whats happening !! Im still waiting to be called to get the monitor on!!!!! Im also waiting to go to the cardio in Dublin but I would guess that will take about 3 months...sigh !!!!

I dont feel good and Im a bit scared because I keep on feeling 'worse' and I think to myself '' where is this going to end ''.

Jacqui
I am so very sorry this is happening to you. Wishing you the best. Try to stay as calm as possible, not easy I know.

Happy Birthday (late). Rotten birthday I know.

Sorry you're living through this difficulty time, but it does beat the alternative.

I hate waiting for news, especially about my health. You have my sincere sympathies in that. Hopefully, it's nothing but a bad reaction to the alarm clock.

Best wishes,

So Sorry

So Sorry

Jacqui, I hope you have the monitor now, and that they are able to figure your problems out! Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Brian

Hope things get better for you soon, keep your chin up, will be thinking of you, sending best wishes your way x

Firstly, happy belated birthday. Too bad you couldn't enjoy it properly, but here's hoping you can make that up another day soon.

I hope by now you've got the monitor. Maybe this will accelerate the care you need to put all you've been going through behind you. Best wishes, and get well soon.

THANKS EVERYONE for your replies. No sign of the monitor yet (if I had money to pay for private health insurance I would have had it last week). When I win the lottery I am coming over to America to get myself ''FIXED''. 8-/

Hi Jacqui:) Sorry to hear your birthday wasn't the greatest and that you have to wear that ever so sexy halter monitor. I hope you feel better soon and I will keep you in my prayers!! Celebrate your birthday when your feeling better though....I insist!:D

Hi Jacqui...Hope Your Feeling Better..

Hi Jacqui...Hope Your Feeling Better..

I certainly know how you feel as I haven't been feeling too terrific myself lately either. I haven't been on too much lately either, as I had to get my pc back up and running (my other one died, and the new one has Vista, and I dislike it immensely-so I have turned to Linux-Which I LOVE) anyway, I hope your feeling better and please know your in my thoughts and prayers. Harrybaby:eek: :D
