the sky is so beautiful and all else as well - but those mountains out there scare me. I visited daughter & family in Arizona and had never seen anything but beautiful green mountains (as in Virginia). Looking at the brown from the plane window, I wondered why all was so brown and could those really be mountains down there. Son InLaw drove us up into the mountains around Mesa/Phoenix and my fears were real and so were the mountains. Lots and lots of tales and facts about those mountains, isn't there. Many legends.

Up on top of those same mountains were herds of cows and goats munching away. Being a flatlander, I couldn't believe they never fell off, however they seemed to be surefooted as they went about their business. I just wanted to get down.

Beautiful pictures Dennis, the landscape is very similar to Drumheller Alberta here in Canada. Lots of Dinosaurs bones have been found there. The open blue sky is typical here in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Just Beautiful!
