While you are all hiding keys outside of your homes, take a few minutes afterwards to find an empty pill bottle, throw in a few important meds (coumadin, BP, aspirin, etc) and drop it into your purse.
Men may want to keep this bottle in the glove box of the car, unless opting for a pretty purse.;)

For some reason I seem to have problems with unlabeled pill bottles in my car at check points:cool:

Actually, my mom got me a little bottle with a water tight screw top that has a key chain attached for carrying meds in. I use it when I know I'm going to be out late, and usually intend to keep meds in my purse with it, but don't always remember. I said to my husband when all this happened "I guess I really do need to keep my meds in my purse." Yet I still haven't put any in my bottle! Perhaps I'll do that now... ;)

...unless you have a tendancy to lock your car keys in the car......................

I don't, thankfully.

But, I have done it ... twice. Luckily, the car in which that happened is LONG gone ;).

Quick notes:

Car keys.....I have an extra car key hidden inside a magnetic hid-a-key box, inserted in the upper portion of the tail pipe of my car. I cannot tell you how often I have had to use it.

House keys...lockboxes work pretty well, but obviously not on the door that you use all of the time. We have had one on the back door to our home for more years than I can count. However, a magnetic hide-a-key box with an extra house key in is can be hidden behind the electric or gas meters. Works perfectly.

A hide-a-key box costs less than $2.00

Heh ... when I bought my '87 MC LS from the original owners in July 2003, I was "shocked" to find out that the husband had a key taped to the back of the rear license plate. [The license plate pulls down to reveal where you put the gas in.] I couldn't believe it.... But, he said he had had no problems with it ... so, that's the way he kept doing it.

Once I got the car home ... I promptly removed that key ;).
