Reunion Attendance Poll

We are starting our attempts to determine the number of people who will be attending the reunion next February in Orlando Florida from Wednesday, the 20th through Sunday the 24th. Please input your situations asap. EVERYONE is INVITED! This is going to be the biggest best Reunion yet!

I know it was posted before, but where is the info on the reunion? I'd like to look over it again and see IF it is possibleto go. Just the thought of being WARM in Feb ,let alone meeting many of my friends and support here would be great.
OK here's MY (unasked for,of course lol) opinion
Ross my back is really bad these days, I would be happy to sit around and talk (yes talk, not "talk" like in my 20s lol) I'm sure if you wouldn't be too miserable just travelling there and back, others would feel the same way. so you shouldn't worry about not being able to "do" alot or holding people back. Even IF you just feel like going to the dinners and other parts that you sit thru people would get to meet/thank you and it could probably do you alot of good just to get out. I don't have the medical issues you do,but I have alot of pain and I know many times, just the thought of getting ready and going somewhere keep me from doing it. and I know somethings, my going are just not fair to the other people around me. (like Cooperstown long drive, then lots of standing and walking) BUt for things I CAN do even parts of, and rest when needed it really makes me feel so much better to go and have fun and meet others and watch my family have fun.

Ross, I hope I'm not being too nosy ,BUT have you ever tried those little electric skooter type things you can sit in and have baskets and such for your O2? Would something like that make it any easier to do this, and not travel all the way, just to sit in your room (think just being WARM in Feb, just when it seems winter will never ever end) They wouldn't help me,since sitting hurts, but I saw lots of people zipping around in them when we were on Justin's Wish trip. and Ican SO picture you with a smile on your face running people that are annoying down.
I know alot of kids on their wish trips, rent alot of the O2.,concentrators and other medical equipment they will need in Orlando so it is there waiting for them when they check in. IF anyone wants, I could call Give kids theWorld where alot of the kids stay and ask for recomendations for reliable companies, if someone that lives local doesn't know of any.

No real info is out yet, Lyn. Just the dates and location. Hank is trying to gather #'s I imagine so he can get the best deal for the days involved. It would be great if you could make it!

Every event needs a headliner, and you would be ours, imagine how many would attend to meet the ROSSMAN

Dick and I will try to make it- a lot will depend upon who in the family are camping on our doorstep then as it is around the time of school vacation. That said, we would be honored to help Ross get there if he feels he can manage it and if by chance we have to miss it, we want pictures if not videos!!

Hot is even better. I was very happy swimming when we went in the end of Nov.a couple years ago and winter didn't even start here yet. By Feb, I am really ready to not be freezing. I think I am part reptile,CHOP was soooo cold w/ the AC, I would have to run outside sit on the concrete wall and warm back up. Lyn

I will be there. Not positive if I will be bringing another person or not. I do know Carol can't make it this time.

Ross, it would be so awesome if you could be there. We all understand if you can't or don't want to risk the traveling though.

With the temperatures being what they are in February in Chicago, it will be delightful to go where it's warm. I've never been to Florida but I have heard you definitely don't want to go there during the summer!

I'm looking forward to the reunion and seeing vr members I already know and meeting new members.

7 months from now.. Like I have told many of my friends..that is when we have our bad weather here in North Ga.never know..Could be ice/snow...Road travel could be bad..but flying should be fine..If one is flying from somewhere other than the North. Or out west..like Co.......Hope the 29 members have voted..live nearby....close to Fla.......and will not have to cancel because of bad weather. .....I have not voted..I am waiting to see what that week's weather is like in the South.Like North Ga...where we can and Atlanta, too. can see some bad weather.... We would have to go thru Atlanta...to get down to Fla.........If that week is fine..I plan to come.. Can I wait until the last minute for dinner on Friday.. ..Bonnie
