Hey all! I'm heading back to work tomorrow and I'm pleased to report that I'm finally feeling really good!

If someone had told me a month ago, before cardioversion, that I would be feeling this good and heading back to work I wouldn't have believed it, that was a low point for me. After getting back in sinus rhythm it was like someone finally turned on the light at the end of the tunnel. The cardiac rehab has helped me IMMENSELY. It is so wonderful to finally feel good again, whew!

Thanks for listening, I just wanted to share the news. :)

All my best,
Ruth

Congrats

Congrats

Glad you are feeling so good, Ruth! I started looking in on this site right around the time you were going in for surgery and yours is one of the stories I followed. So happy for you!!!

Be good to yourself!

Ruth,
It is great to hear you are feeling so good. :) It's funny how we, the VR.COM family, went through our recovery challenges together. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as I get back in the groove with my job, too. (I got into my work email today and can already tell I am going to need to chill out! ) I have the one issue to deal with, the heart weakness, and I will be right there with you. Are you going to continue the cardiac rehab after you start back to work? I am. I already went in and blocked my calendar for the 3 days a week I go. Like you, I feel it's very beneficial to me and my recovery.

So happy for you!!! :D Yay! I go back to work tomorrow after spring break, and all I can think about is, "How many more weeks until summer vacation?"

Ruth, We're so happy to hear that you're getting back to work. I can feel the happiness in your post. Good luck!
Kevin and Janene:)

Have a great day today, Ruth. Glad to hear that you are feeling so good!

Ruth. I am so glad to hear how well you feel!! You certainly had a bumpy road getting there so I'm very glad you are there!!

Please pace yourself as you re-enter your work schedule. Grab some carry-out on the way home, let someone else do the dishes, put your feet up and remember those "power naps" can be very useful at times like these. Listen to your body!!

Congrats. You did a great job!! You're back! Hooray!!!!!!

:D Marguerite

Ruth,

Good for you!! It is a wonderful thing to wake up and notice that we feel "normal" or even better than normal!

I wish you the best on your return to work.

Tom
