To Mary, and all the others who have family members serving in the military,

We're forever glad when our loved ones come home, regardless of whether it is permanent or only for a visit.

We also thank them all, wherever they serve and whatever their role, for the sacrifices they make to keep our country and our way of life what it is for the rest of us.

I salute them all!

So pleased Johns home for a while. With the British sailors taken hostage in Iran last week and this on everyones minds, i was thinking about him and wondering how he was so was really pleased to see this update!

What wonderful news, Mary.

Enjoy the daylights out of him while he's home with you. Spend lots and lots of time with him and give him lots and lots of hugs and kisses.....Moms can do that, you know.

Mary. that's the best news I've heard today. Give him a big hug for me and "thank him" for serving our country so well.

Amen to that! And thank you to your whole family, Mary. We owe you all a great debt of gratitude.

Mary..

Wonderful news Mary. Glad you have your son home for a little while at least. No greater joy!
Our SIL Trevor will be home on leave next month from Afghanistan. All of us can't wait to see him again!

No matter how old they are they are still our babies. Tell him thanks for me for serving our country. I am happy for you that he is home.

Evelyn,
Will you please come hold him while I try????:p :p :p None of our boys are thrilled with either hugs or kisses, but they are good about talking to me.

Thanks to each and everyone who has responded. I truly appreciate it.

Hi Mary

If it will help, I'll hog tie him down!!!!!----well, on second thought, that thought might just send him right back to Iraq!!!! I'm SURE HE'S glad to be back home!!!

Enjoy every minute with your wonderful son. As others have requested, I also ask that you thank him (and tell him to thank his buddies) for his service to our country. God bless him!
