Just want to start this thread early Bob as I'm not sure when you are going to Duke for pre-testing, etc. Keeping my fingers crossed that you will have only the aortic root replacement and not the avr, but you are in a great hospital and I am sure that all will go well. Hope you did something really special this weekend and sending best wishes for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery. Godspeed!

Hope your surgery and recovery go off just as quickly and easily as possible, Bob. Lots of prayers and warm wishes coming your way.

Best wishes to you Bob. Post when you can; or can you have someone else let us know how you're doing please?

Wishing you the best possible scenario. You'll be in my prayers.

Wednesday is coming

Wednesday is coming

Wow, what a nice surprise, and thank you all.
This weekend was spent in the yard mostly, so that is all taken care of. I hope to play golf in the morning.

I go to Duke on Tuesday morning for all the pre-op. No cath planned, already did that for the second time in Jan. to learn aneurism is now 5.0cm.
We plan to stay in Durham although home is only about an hour away. Not sure time of surgery but will be informed of that on Tuesday.

Thank you for your prayers and pointers. I have spent a "few" hours reading many comments and have even made a few myself. We will post as soon as we can, and look forward to spending more time with you.
