Thank you, all of you, for such nice birthday greetings. I had a superb celebration. Chuck (son) and his wife, Dani, came up from Sarasota for the weekend. They brought their feline child, Daisy, who lives on a leash there when she's outside. She just goes wild and free here and is the happiest doggie in the world. We went to a play that my granddaughter and two of her children were in. We caught the matinee, then had dinner at our local Italian restaurant that has authentic Italian food. Then that night we played games and had great fun. Next week I will be at Linda's (daughter) and we get to do it all over again.

I got a really neat present, presented in a unique way and will pass it on here because Christmas is near and some of you might like to try it. I opened a pair of gloves and remarked that they'd come in handy - then felt something in the thumb. Thinking it was cardboard to hold the shape I reached in and pulled it out. It was a bill. Something in the opposite thumb. Same thing. I discovered something in every finger. They have decided I have everything I need/want (age does that) and they give $ and books.
