Here he is working the phones. Home between surgeries. Next surgery, about 4 weeks.

Good to see him home, Ross and sending best wishes that each day in the next 4 weeks gets better for all of you and you all regain the strength you need to face the next operation.

I second that!!

I second that!!

What will they be doing next? If you don't mind me askin'.
It really is a miracle - even though it has been such a hard road - he truly is lucky!!

Wow, Ross!

Wow, Ross!

I didn't know corded phones still existed............:D Just kidding!

I am so glad Chris is home! Considering all he has been through, he looks great! STill in our prayers until this book is closed with a happy ending. Sending love and hugs. Janet

Shaving a layer off of his graft to smooth it out and then applying more skin.

Hey Ross,
Thanks for the update on Chris. Looks like he is doing good. I am sure you and Lyn are happy to see him at home.

hi ross,
looks like chris is comfortable at home and you must both be so happy to have him there with you.
we hope you and lyn will be able to get some rest now that things are stabilizing a bit.
glad to hear things are looking better.
stay well,
sylvia

He looks great, although abit ashen....kinda gray around the gills. Poor kid. Been through so much. Glad he's home with his mom and pop. It will do him worlds of good.

Hang in there. Give yourselves plenty of space. Wishing him the best.

Visiting nurse was here today and I meant to take a picture of the graft, but think it would gross you all out. It's looking pretty aggitated and mad right now. Lots of purple, swollen, slight oozing and some pink to it, but it's scaring all of us. We'll have another look Monday morning and see if it's changed for better or worse. :(

Wound vac

Wound vac

Would a wound vac be helpful in healing? I had one after my first surgery and it sped up the healing amazingly. My sister in law had one for a sore on her leg and it made it heal when nothing else would. Look into one for CHris. Glad you have him home. :)
