I have been afraid of V8 Juice the last few years. Does anyone know the vitamin K amount in a can of it?

I have a list of foods and their Vit K content. Although it does not specify "V8", it does list - "Vegetable Juice Cocktail, Canned" which has to be pretty close to V8.KristyW said:Gina,
Where did you find that? I wrote to Campbells over 4 years ago asking if they could list the Vit K content & was "Politely" told that since the government doesn't require them to list it, they don't test for it.
Missy,
Don't be afraid of V-8 but use it wisely. I actually have a small 5.5 or 6oz glass every morning (leftover eating habit from my South Beach Diet). The key for me is that I have it every day, so it doesn't mess with my INR.

I figured it couldn't be much because I drink lots of the stuff and it doesn't seem to make a bit of difference in my INR.doyo said:USDA Vitamin K content pdf file has 242 g (or 1 cup) of canned Vegetable juice cocktail as having 12.8 mcg (microgram) of Vitamin K which is about the same amount as 1 stalk of celery, 1 cup of mashed potatoes, 1 cup of lettuce, 1 piece of bluberry pie, etc.
