Hello, I am wondering if anyone has had a transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement. I have my valve replaced a little over 1 year ago and it was not successful, it was through open heart procedure. The valve already has a severe regurgitation, although the heart is still functioning well. They are going to watch closely for changes, but have suggested that I may be a candidate for transcatheter procedure and hopefully not need to be opened up again. Does anyone have any experiences with this procedure and the the pros and cons associated with it.

Sorry my message was just stupid. I was asking you if it was mechanical valve that failed you but a mec do not calcify. So I deleted my useless message. I read you history and you said your surgeon did a mistake, can I ask you what he did wrong ?
