I used to be active in this forum around the time of my valve replacement, March 10, 201 I have now had a total knee replacement and had to be off Coumadin 5 days prior.tp sirgery/ Has anyone else done this?
Yes, just had rotator surgery, off the warfarin for 5 days prior. My INR was at 1.1 the day before surgery.
I began my daily dose again right after surgery along with 7 days of lovenox injections to my stomach area.
I self tested on day 7 after surgery and was at 1.9.
