Tissue vs mechanical

Hi. Just wanted to know how many people in their mid 50’s chose tissue or mechanical. My surgeon really thinks tissue Valve. Thanks

My valve was replaced with a St. Jude mechanical when I was 55 years young. I had a few problems with bleeds in my leg and a major bleed after hip replacement but I still do not want to face OHS again. I hope this is helpful with your decision
