Just wondering does anyone else have eye problems? It has been a year and a half now since surgery and I still experiance some wierd eye things going on. Like I see with one just a little lower than the other. It lasts a couple of minutes, every other day or so. It can be very disconcerting when trying to navigate a flight of dark stairs. I'm not even sure it can be atributed to surgery. Oh well I hope I'm not the only one. I did have a very bad case of double vision after surgery but it eventually subsided. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Eye problems and vision seem to go hand in hand with us heart surgery people. I would mention it to the Doctor and perhaps see a vision specialist if that's an option. Wouldn't hurt to make sure everything is alright. :)

I can relate!

Hi!
I know just what you mean. I have posted a lot about visual disturbances since my surgery 4 1/2 months ago. I do believe that the surgery has something to do with it, but I also agree with Ross when he says to get it checked out by an eye doctor. I just went a week or so ago and had everything checked out. Scan some of my posts relating to visual disturbances and see if anything sounds similar. If you have any more questions, please ask.

Take Care!
Gail

I don't know if eye sight has anything to do with surgery. I just got my first pair of reading glasses last week. I have 20/20 vision for distance but I can't see close. I told my eye doctor that if I had longer arms I wouldn't need glasses. He said it's perfectly normal for "someone my age" to get reading glasses.
