I called duke hospital to check up on alicia's condition. They put me through to her room. She told me she was sitting up, waiting for her husband to come. We had a wonderful conversation. She sounded strong. Told me that she was waking three times a day. Dr. Glower her surgeon had been by several times. As well, as her cardiologist, Dr. Bashore. She told me they had taken five chest tubes out of her. Foli, and pacing wires still in. martha
