This drug combination is a minority medication. Should any one on here be taking it I think you should read this
Simvastatin and ezetimibe. Bad combination?

Not only is there an increased incidence of cancer in patients taking this combination, but there is also no evidence that the drugs slow the progression of aortic stenosis (they do appear to inhibit other cardiovascular events, the study shows.)
One of my cardios insisted that I go on statins a few years back. I refused. My other cardio has never suggested it. Guess who I prefer to see?
