hello i havent posted in a while..
so here is my update :smile2:
i'm currently seeing the cardiologist once every 9 months..
the dilated ascending aorta is not as severe as they thought 3 years ago when my condition was deemed to have worsened..
here are my latest stats:
overall aortic stenosis appears to be moderate with a valve area of 1.3 cm2, a peak velocity of 3.8ms and a peak gradient of 58 mmHg. Ascending aorta measured 4cm in diameter (in 2011 the echo-cardiogram had this at 4.8 !!)
I was told in 2011 i would need surgery within 5 years.
I now have no such time limit on surgical intervention.
I wonder how long I will be in the waiting room for ? :tongue2:
