Pardaxa Recieves FDA aproval

A new anticoagulant has received FDA approval. It is to be a replacement for coumadin and everyone takes the same dose and does not require testing. May be something folks want to talk with their MD about. http://www.stoptheclot.org/News/article242.htm

Yes, we've heard this. However, this is approved only for a-fib, not for valvers. It's costly, and has no antidote in the event of a bad bleed, unlike coumadin.
