Out of surgery

This is post op day 3. Doing great! Thank you to everyone that answered questions!! I had another tissue valve put in. Size was 25. Just resting now at the Cleveland Clinic.

Rest and recover, but keep up the spirometer and the walking

May I ask why you choose another tissue valve?

I had Mitral Valve Replacement and Tricuspid Repair on May 3.I have a mechanical valve very happy with it.

I have mechanical and am not bothered about taking Coumadin.

(May I ask why you choose another tissue valve?)

I had a tissue before and really wanted another again. The surgery was not that bad for me. At 70-75 I have option for another tissue or tavr valve. I had surgery on Wed and be back at hotel tomorrow. I take Celebrex for my back and Warfarin would not be real safe for me. It was just a personal decision that I had to make.
